It is up to each of us to engage on the path leading to the doors we want to open.
The concept of “Door” represent a perception one needs to open so to reach a particular understanding.
It seems here important to mention that the term “guru” signifies “the door opener”. By definition, the guru delivers key understanding to open the doors for knowledge the fill the room of one ‘s perception.
A guru doesn’t have to be a living human being.
In order to open the doors to knowledge, one must seek the keys to open them. There is the idea that an effort is required to access the knowledge one may need.
Behind the door is filled with mystery. One doesn’t know what one doesn’t know. Opening a door allows one to observe and get to know what one doesn’t know. Each door one open one’s mind to allow one to perceive the knowledge hidden behind it.
The suggestion here is for one to reflect once in a while on the new knowledge one wants to acquire. And which doorways one engages on. The pursuit of knowledge is a necessary practice according to some spiritual circles, where one is seen as an eternal student.
