READ. Pens on sketching paper 160g/m2. A5. 4 Jan 2022

Today with this piece I am contemplating our faculty to read our environment by our so many senses.

A long way before we understand how to read letters and fathom words, our eyes first have to learn how to form a coherent image of reality from all the light signals they are perceiving.

So do our ears with sound and our tongue with taste. Each experience trains them to recognise and translate what they have perceived.

The metaphor here is easy. There is a whole universe for us to read just like an open book. With each sense being a reading tool, we are talking about a multidimensional book.

Just like with books. The more we read, the more we learn and gain knowledge, the more we understand and find clarity.

We live in a universe of information. One way to dissipate the noise it may create is to learn to recognise what is necessary from what is not from what we read.

Ask your senses today, what do they want to be reading. Consider what you can do to make their experience more pleasant.

Bless up for now🙏🏼
